MENTOR RESOURCES
In addition to the basic forms that you will need to request PLL materials when you begin mentoring an engaged couple and the PLL Completion Certificate when you finish, there are other resources that may be useful to you.
PLL Registration Form
Normally you will receive contact information for your engaged couple from your Parish Coordinator or mentor Matching couple. This information will often be incomplete and it will be your responsibility to collect any missing information about the couple that will be useful for contacting them during and after mentoring.
All the needed information is identified and may be recorded on the PLL Registration Form. If this form is not provided to you, please save it to your computer and fill it in as soon as you are able to obtain the necessary information.
When you finish mentoring your couple, email a copy of the PLL Registration Form to your Parish Coordinator and the PMRC at PMRCusa@msn.com.

Mentors often receive invitations to the weddings of the couples they have mentored. Whether or not you choose to attend is entirely up to you, and you may elect to attend the Liturgy but not the Reception. In either case, you may wish to give your engaged couple a gift on the occasion of their wedding. Such a gift may be meaningful without being expensive. Two ideas you may wish to consider are as follows:
A Wedding Chalice - Their own chalice to be used during their wedding and for family celebrations thereafter like anniversaries or baptisms can be a sacramental treasure their whole life long. It need not be a precious metal. A ceramic or crystal goblet is just as meaningful.
A Marriage Bed Crucifix - A crucifix for their bedroom is a poignant reminder of the language of the body that expresses their total gift of self donation to each other. The crucifix may also be combined with a framed copy of the PMRC Reflection on the Marriage Bed Crucifix, or either may be given separately.
